My brother John celebrated his 30th birthday at Sushi House Buffet in Stockton, California, USA. While the name of restaurant suggests that it is a Japanese restaurant, it is more of a combination of Chinese and Japanese cuisines. You know I'm happy (Big grin on my face).

Sushi House Buffet Japanese and Chinese Restaurant is located at 7916 North West Lane, Stockton, California, USA 95210. Their location is adjacent to the SF Supermarket. Lunch buffet is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner buffet is from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations can be made through telephone number (209) 955 1396.

There is nothing fancy about the concept, most dishes are placed on three (3) large buffet counters right as one enters the restaurant. The sushi rolls are placed on sushi boat trains on a separate conveyor system.

My meal consisted heavily of seafood dishes such as crabs, sauteed clams, popcorn shrimp, grilled oysters, and orange shrimp.

Other dishes I tried were chicken pot stickers, some sushi, steamed bokchoy, chicken teriyaki, fried rice, and a few cheese rolls.

I also had a few dessert items and some fruits as well as raspberry-flavored iced tea. The dessert counter was one interesting place with jellies, different types of cookies, cakes, and assorted fruits.

So how did I find this first buffet dining experience in America? 3 out of 5 stars. I'm pretty sure this is not the best buffet there is in town and I look forward to trying out other buffet places in the future.
